MJ's Arcade Panorama

Pinsane.com has an amazing panorama of Michael Jackson's arcade wing at Neverland. Game nerds will gasp to be sure; but for me, I'm ticked off that MJ owned a Han Solo frozen in Carbonite, a Batman statue, and a life-size Darth Vader made of Lego.

Dear Japan: WTF?

This is video of a new WiiWare gem entitled, Let's Muscle, featuring a bevvy of Buff Boys with jiggling buttocks, a polar bear and the occasional glimpse of a steroid-infused God making jerk-off gestures in the lower left corner of the screen. So yeah...I want it.

Kings of Power 4 Billion %

By Executive Request, here is a video from Paul Robertson.

Like his previous video, Pirate Baby’s Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006, this movie draws heavily on imagery drawn from classic side-scrolling arcade games, only with more ultra-violence and social commentary thrown in.

Without further ado, click to view.

Vintage Computer Terminals...

...playing "Still Alive" from Portal.

Everything on the terminals and sound is controlled by an Intel 8080 Microprocessor at 2MHz. The sound chip is a MOS SID (from a Commodore 64).

Original MP4, a preliminary MP3 and the assembler source code is at http://files.1338.info/portal.

Phantom Hourglass Review

The new Zelda game for the DS ships Oct. 1, and I can't wait for my copy to arrive. If this review is any indication, Phantom Hourglass will be tons more fun to play than that goddamned Let's Turn Into A Wolf horseshit game from last year.

For those of you who can't wait, here are the first 6 minutes of the game (mostly cut scenes). Sadly, all the text is in Japanese, so I can't tell you what the heck is going on.

FuzzyMii

In honor of Fuzzytopia's leading citizen, I created a Mii for FuzzyDave:

FuzzyDave's Mii

FuzzyDave on my Wii plaza

He's not very social. He's just been moping around Wii Plaza pantsing the other Miis and begging for strogies.

Playing Half-Life with a Wiimote

I knew the Wii controller would revolutionize the way we play video games.

I just didn't think it would happen this fast.
