This is the trailer for an upcoming film by Mamoru Oshii, the filmmaker who gave us Ghost in the Shell. Assault Girls has cute, heavily armed Japanese girls fighting giant-assed sandworms. So...yes.

Trailer for Dr. Parnassus
Here is the UK trailer for Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus," Heath Ledger's final film. It opens in the UK Oct. 16th and on Christmas Day in the USA.
I can't wait to see it. Not because of Heath, but because I'm a huge Gilliam fan. That, and also because it stars Lily Cole, the future mother of my children.

So Long Chef
Isaac Hayes died today. He was 65. He was found dead by his treadmill.
What with Bernie Mac gone and now Hayes, that's two of the three stars of the upcoming movie "Soul Men" who have passed.
Someone call Sam Jackson and tell him to stay in motherfuckin bed.

RIP You Glorious Bastard

George Carlin, who had a history of heart problems, died Sunday of heart failure. He was 71.
My earliest memory of Carlin was sneaking home a friend's copy of Class Clown back in the early 70s and playing it before my parents got home.
And yet, Larry the Cable Guy still lives.

Tokyo Gore Police
This video clip is NSFW due to EXCESSIVE and GRATUITOUS violence, lakes of spurting blood, partial nudity, anatomical grotesqueries, and extremely poor production values.
NO ONE should watch it, except for Beaglebot.
And maybe Fuzzydave.
